CameraFlow support

Useful recovery,
without guesswork.

CameraFlow requires macOS 14 or later. Some video apps cache their camera list and must be fully reopened after installation.

CameraFlow Camera is missing

Open CameraFlow and read the verified camera status. Choose Install camera, approve it in System Settings if prompted, then reopen the video app.

Camera access was denied

In System Settings, open Privacy & Security → Camera and enable CameraFlow before starting a source relay again.

A colored pattern appears

That is the local standby output. It confirms the extension is producing frames while no source relay is active.

OBS is selected but black

Start Virtual Camera inside OBS before starting the relay in CameraFlow.

An old camera list remains

Fully close and reopen the consuming app. Some browsers require every window to be closed.

Removal needs a restart

Save your work and restart macOS. CameraFlow reports when removal will finish only after reboot.

Privacy-safe support

Email donncha@focalise.ie with the exact CameraFlow status text, macOS version, app build, and minimum reproduction steps. Never send camera frames, credentials, two-factor codes, provisioning profiles, API keys, or full unrelated system logs.
